Building stability. Creating a path forward.
Serenity Recovery Foundation helps adults rebuilding their lives find stable housing, recovery support, career readiness and the practical skills to live independently.
Serenity helps people get back on their feet and build stable, independent lives by expanding access to housing stability, recovery support, education, career development, resource navigation, and practical assistance.
Why Serenity exists
Stability takes more than a place to sleep. People rebuilding their lives often need safe housing, recovery resources, job preparation and community connection all at once. Serenity bridges the gap between instability and sustainable independent living.
Who we serve
Adults of all genders and backgrounds who are seeking structure, connection, recovery support, employment readiness and a path toward independent living.
Coordinated support, one person at a time
A housing referral alone can't address job readiness, and a job alone can't fix unstable housing. Our programs work together.
Housing Stability
Housing navigation, referrals and need-based scholarships that help participants access safe, recovery-supportive living.
Recovery & Community
Connections to peer support, recovery networks, community programs and independent professional resources.
Workforce & Career
Résumé and interview help, job-readiness coaching, professional clothing and links to training and employers.
Life Skills & Navigation
Budgeting, healthy routines, education and help finding benefits and community resources.
Community Partnerships
Working with recovery organizations, housing providers, employers, educators and volunteers.
Jennifer “JJ” Johnson
“People rebuilding their lives need both compassion and practical pathways forward.”
JJ combines hands-on experience in the recovery community and sober-living management with more than a decade of professional leadership in product development, technology, operations and organizational change.
She has led complex cross-functional programs at organizations including Gartner, Royal Caribbean and UKG, and teaches operations and project management at Florida Atlantic University.
Serenity brings that experience to a simple idea: connect housing stability and recovery support with education, career preparation, accountability and community, so participants can build lives that last.
